Modern Guyana is a country on the north coast of South America, it is bordered to the east by Suriname, to the south and south-west by Brazil, to the west by Venezuela and on the north by the Atlantic Ocean.

Outside St George’s Cathedral. This Anglican cathedral is one of the tallest wooden churches in the world,
Boa Vista lies 220 km (136 miles) from Brazil’s northern border with Venezuela. Roads connect with the cities of Lethem, Guyana and Santa Elena de Uairén, Venezuela.

Duomo Square looking towards Milan’s main cathedral (Duomo di Milano). Construction of the massive late Gothic cathedral began in 1386. The façade is made of white marble and is decorated with hundreds of spires and thousands of statues.
