Corfu (Kerkyra, ancient Greek) is a Greek Island of the Ionian group of seven main islands in the Ionian Sea off the west coast of mainland Greece. Corfu itself is very close to Albania. The Island’s capital is Corfu Town, which holds the largest population and has a university.

Exeter, July 2010

The first photos were taken in Rougemont and Northernhay Gardens, which surround the ruins of Rougemont Castle, Exeter. The public gardens surround the castle ruins on three sides and are pleasant to walk around. The castle was first built in 1068 to help William the Conqueror control the city.
