My eBooks are travel biographies of the observations and experiences of a totally blind and partially deaf man as he travels independently around the world having exciting adventures. The most recent volume, Seeing a Slice of Southern Africa My Way, published 31 December 2020, is a journey of continued self-discovery as I plot my way from multi-cultural South Africa with its complex society, to Malawi, with its picturesque and peaceful nature. This third book takes the reader through parts of Southern Africa, and offers a brief glimpse into a little of Lesotho, Swaziland, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Blog post / Travels in Beirut (6th March 2018)

I arrived in Beirut, capital of Lebanon in the early hours of 2nd March 2018. I quickly discovered that people are, for the most part, friendly and hospitable. A 15-minute taxi journey took me from the country’s only international airport to my hostel, Saifi Urban Gardens, on Pasteur Street , Behind Coral Gas Station. Blog post / A day out in Canterbury (24th February 2018)

My partner, Tatiana, and I visited Canterbury Cathedral, the head of the Anglican church in England. It is an important, historical, religious monument and building of significance. I’m not religious, but love visiting historical churches and cathedrals, because they are a part of British history, which I find fascinating. Our history tells us where we came from and what we have become and, can often, give an indication of where we might be going in the future.

Tony being interviewed on the Chrissie B Show. A 3-time weekly programme about mental helth issues and how best to tackle them, plus positive stories regarding overcoming mental and physical challenges. Tony is a positive story about overcoming mental and physical challenges at a young age to travel the world independently and, deal with his low self-esteem as a teenager, to become a positive roll model for anyone seeking to conquer their fears and live a positive life.

Tony’s latest info (10th February 2018)

Tony is now in Lausanne, Switzerland, preparing to give a talk at the closing ceremony of a student-led event about tourism and travel. Tony was also recently on the Chrissie B Show: a tv programme on Sky, channel 203 about tackling mental health issue and positive action regarding this subject. Tony’s story is a positive illustration of what can be overcome and achieved.
