Photos & Videos Romania, August 2022 Fountain in Central Park of Cluj-Napoca in northwest Romania on a hot summer’s day. Check the sound and sight of this lovely little fountain that Tony and Tatiana enjoyed. Tony and Tatiana touch a semi-nude statue on one of the corners of the fountain in Central Park, Cluj, Romania. A lovely large stone statue of a man, his belly button is very detailed along with his nipples! Check out another wonderful fountain. I found this one when walked in the centre of Bucharest, Romania’s busy and lively capital. Such a wonderful sound, enjoy. Tony heading up Mount Tampa by Cable car on a sunny day in Brasov, historic city in Transylvania, central Romania. The windowed box-like cabin has a capacity of 20 people. The cable car makes the journey between the cabin/restaurant Casa Pădurarului at the base of the mountain to the Restaurantul Panoramic, on its crest, in under three minutes. A one-way journey costs 15 Romanian Lei for an adult (roughly 3 Euros. A return ticket costs 25 Romanian Lei (roughly 5 Euros). People can also hike up and/or hike down, like Tony did. There are many hiking trails on the mountain and lots of nature. It’s a nice, quiet journey by cable car, apart from the chattering tourists! Tony is hiking down Mount Tâmpa, a forested mountain on the east side of Brasov. It’s a sunny day and the forest trail is steep and rocky. There are rocks and stones everywhere and loose gravel underfoot. This video is an example of what Tony, totally blind and severely deaf, gets up to during one of his trips around the world. :). The mountain is actually 960 metres (3,150 feet) in hight, but Tony did not descend the mountain from the top, only from the upper cable car station.
